Lawn Aeration

Your turf can become extremely compact with regular use, whether an event was recently hosted, kids play on it every day, or even from weekly mowing. During this process, a dense layer of thatch (dead grass stems and roots) can take over at the surface of the grass, causing your lawn and soil beneath to be starved of air and water. When our lawn crews aerate a lawn, our machines mechanically create and remove plugs of turf to allow moisture, air and nutrients to penetrate the soil. This process deposits the core plug of grass, soil and roots onto the surface of your lawn, which breaks down over the course of 1-2 weeks with proper watering. As the plugs break down they provide additional nutrition for the existing soil to help increase the overall strength of your turf.
